Roscommon Rose Of Tralee
We are delighted to announce the search for the Roscommon Rose of Tralee 2010
has begun.
Local businesses, sports organisations, professional groupings
and you yourself are invited to take part and sponsor a Rose. The title of
Roscommon Rose is a fantastic opportunity for young women to represent their
local community and county at the Regional Final in Portlaoise and ultimately
the televised International Rose of Tralee event in August.
The 2010 County
Roscommon Rose Selection Ball will take place on Friday April 23rd in the
prestigious Kilronan Castle, Ballyfarnon, Co. Roscommon.
This year every Rose
must have an escort for the selection night and we are delighted to announce
that for 2010 there is a new escort competition where one lucky gentleman from
County Roscommon is guaranteed to be an escort at the final in Tralee. The
winner will be announced on the night of April 23rd in Kilronan Castle.
Along with the potential of becoming the 2010 Roscommon Rose and
representing your county and local community in the regional final in
Portlaoise, your Rose could win prizes including Newbridge Silverware jewellery,
Carlton Hotel Gift Cards. Should she go forward and become the 2010 Rose of
Tralee will win a €25,000 world prize, car for a year, a complete collection of
Newbridge Silverware home ware and jewellery products, plus more.
If you know
a potential Rose that can follow in the footsteps of Maria Hoey (2009) or
Caitriona O’Connor (Tralee finalist 2008), plase contact myself or the Roscommon
Rose Secretary Caroline Leckey on 086 314 9212 or email caroline@creativefreedom.ie for an
entry form or additional information. Please visit www.roscommonrose.com or see local press
for further news and updates. Please don’t hestitate to contact us if you
have any further queries.
We hope that you will take part in what promises to
be a memorable selection event.
